ACUFO:

ACUFO is my comprehensive catalog of cases of encounters between aircraft and UFOs, whether they are "explained" or "unexplained".

The ACUFO catalog is made of case files with a case number, summary, quantitative information (date, location, number of witnesses...), classifications, all sources mentioning the case with their references, a discussion of the case in order to evaluate its causes, and a history of the changes made to the file.

Summary:

In their 2014 book "Luci nel Cielo" ("Lights in the Sky"), Italian ufologists Roberto Pinotti and Alfredo Lissoni said that "ufologists" reported that the English pilot Eric Anderson saw six fireballs over Friuli in March 1945.

They gave no source about this, and I found nothing more about this so far.

These Italian ufologists indicate that during the Second World War, according to case studies collected "by ufologists", mysterious foofighters have been seen on several occasions by military pilots, including one case in which English pilot Eric Anderson saw six fireballs over Friuli in March 1945.

Friuli is a region in the North-East of Italy.

There were many "Eric Anderson" in the Royal Air Force at the time. I found no other source about this so far.
