In their 1975 book "Face Aux Extra-Terrestres", ufologists and journalists Charles Garreau and Raymond Lavier indicated that a few days before the case of Thin-le-Moutiers of October 16, 1954, an Algerian worker saw "something" in the same village, and the priest advised him not to say anything to avoid mockery.
