[Ref. lcc1:] NEWSPAPER "LE COURRIER CAUCHOIX":

We are informed that, last Tuesday, November 9, Mr. Maurice Gobarel, coffee shop owner in Etalleville, saw, in the early morning, very clearly, a kind of luminous sphere striped of more brilliant bars.

This sphere seemed to land in a clump of trees, where it stayed during ten minutes before gwtting away. A morning consumer also witnessed the occurrence.

Explanations:

Map.

This is supposed "landing" and a "take-off" that remained totally unknown since I did not find any ufological source about it.

As for what it was... an extraterrestrial craft is possible.
