[Ref. jg1:] JIMMY GUIEU:

The author indicates that on August 6, 1954 at 10:40 p.m. in Beaumont-du-Périgord, Mrs. Paul Le Goff heard a whirr similar to the noise of a plane.

She thought that it was a plane, and tried to locate the headlights during a while but did not find them although the noise was very perceptible. She called her husband and another person of her family, and at 10:45 p.m. they clearly saw towards the south-west a glowing point at the base of a long white trail.

She thought that it was a plane which took fire "because the point was getting bigger and reversed itself." At this time there was like fireworks and all disappeared.

There was a beam like that of a projector.

The witnesses remained to observe, and at about 11:00 p.m., there was another whirr which came from the south west, extremely slowly.

A red point of the shape of a revolver bullet was seen, and another which superimposed it, and then the husband brought back a neighbor who also noted that.

One or two minutes later these two points merged and disappeared, while the sky appeared more luminous.

Ten minutes later there are still noises of whirrs, then a white luminous point moves slowly.

[Ref. lc1:] LUC CHASTAN:

Luc Chastan indicates that in the Dordogne in Beaumont du Périgord on August 6, 1954 at 22:40 hours, "a woman after having heard a whirring sound like an engine of a plane observed 5 minutes later towards the southwest an incandescent point which occurred at the base of a long white trail. The point grew bigger and turned over. Her husband came to join her and they then saw like fireworks and very suddenly disappeared. They saw a beam of light then like coming from a projector. Puzzled they remain to observe as for 23 h another whirring sound occurred. They then saw coming from the southwest a red point in the shape of a revolver bullet which advanced with a extreme slowness. A second identical object appeared and superimposed on the first. Meanwhile a neighbor had joined the first two witnesses. One or two minutes went by, the two objects seemed to merge and disappeared. During these phenomena the sky seemed more luminous. Ten minutes even later, again the whirring sound and a white luminous point moved slowly."
