French ufologist Jean Sider found about the case in the newspaper La Résistance de l'Ouest of November 5, 1954, and he indicates that on November 4, 1954, at 7:05, Eugène Jollet and Henri Guilbaud, two farm workers for the Reffé house of Pont-Rousseau, were going to their work.
They then saw "an elongated machine accounting for five to six lit lamps (sic) which went up in the sky without making noise."
[Ref. lc1:] LUC CHASTAN:
Luc Chastan indicates that in the Loire Atlantique in Rezé on November 4, 1954 "at 07:05 hours at the place Pont Rousseau, two witnesses observed an object of the length of 5 to 6 lit lamps going up in the sky."
