Summary:

In 1982, the ufology group ADRUP, in Dijon, published a catalog of all flying saucer sighting reports published in the daily newspaper Le Bien Public of Dijon.

An article dated November 9, 1954, of this journal is reproduced, indicating that one of their readers, Miss Bartet, a well-known painter, resident member of the Academy of Sciences, Arts and Literature of Dijon, observed on Thursday, November 4, 1954 at 7:28 a.m. in Longeault a luminous celestial phenomenon.

She sketched the phenomenon:

Sketch.

The phenomenon was moving from east to west at about 800 meters, the newspaper said.

WHY 1954?

The French flap of 1954 is today more than controversial.

Thus, A.R.R.U.P. wanted to make a compilation of all the documents published in a Burgundy daily newspaper:

"Le Bien Public".

The interest of this catalogue is triple:

November 9: Here is the celestial phenomenon that was seen in Longeault - Côte d'Or -

[... Other case...]

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 9: THIS IS THE CELESTIAL PHENOMENON THAT WAS SEEN IN LONGEAULT

One of our readers, Miss Bartet, a well-known painter; resident member of the Academy of Sciences, Arts and Literature of Dijon, was able to observe, Thursday, November 4, in Longeault, a luminous celestial phenomenon, of which she took an exact sketch. We reproduce it below. It was 7:28, the phenomenon was moving from east to west (on the sketch, from right to left) at about 8oo meters.
