According to the French ufologist Aimé Michel, on the night of September 27, at about 10:45 P.M., an observation occurred in the area of Paris, with quite a number of witnesses including a gendarme [police officer] of Bagnolet. An object went by a the zenith, the gendarme claimed that he has been able to clearly distinguish a flat disc, greenish-white, surrounded by an orange halation.

Aimé Michel notes that this was the last observation for that day in the Paris area.

[Ref. lc1:] LUC CHASTAN:

Luc Chastan indicates in his database that in the Seine Saint Denis (93) in Bagnolet on September 27, 1954 at 22:45 hours, "Rather many witnesses among them a gendarme of Bagnolet observed an object pass at the zenith, the gendarme claiming to have very clearly distinguished a flat, greenish white disc, surrounded by an orange halation."
