Aimé Michel reports that on October 27 a particularly well proven case occurred in Bouin in Pas-de-Calais when many inhabitants saw an extremely luminous sphere flying over the national forest of Hesdin from the west to the east.

Luc Chastan indicates that in the Pas-de-Calais in Huby St Leu on October 27, 1954 at an unknown hour "Many residents saw an extremely luminous sphere flying over the national forest of Hesdin from west to east."
