[Ref. js1:] JEAN SIDER:

Jean Sider found this case when he discovered an article of the newspaper "Les Nouvelles de Falaise" of Falaise, on page 2, for November 25, 1954, the case being dated of November 20, the location given as Laize-la-Ville, Thury-Harcourt, in the department of the Calvados.

The article indicated that a professor of the Academy of Music of Caen, Mr. Bex, was driving when he was stopped by a teenager of about fifteen years old, resident of Boulon, whose name is not given by the newspaper, which told him to have seen a few moment earlier an enormous spinning top which rotated, which was glowing in red and had crossed the road at the level of the ground. Mr. Bex stated that the young man seemed sincere. Mr. Bex specified that he had not seen the phenomenon himself.
