In 1954, a French test pilot for the Fouga Aircraft Company saw a circular machine over the city of Pau. As he climbed toward it a heat blast hit him. On the verge of passing out he dived into cooler air. The UFO made no attempt to follow him down.

A test pilot for the Fouga Aircraft Company of Pau, in the Lower Pyrenees tried to approach a UFO which was hovering near the city. He was forced to turn his aircraft away because of the intense heat which built up in the cockpit.

    The date is in error: it is said to have happened in 1953. (cf. Jimmy Guieu, "Black-out sur les soucoupes volantes.")


    Not looked for yet.

    It seems, according to Jimmy Guieu who seems to be the primary source for the story, that it happened in 1953.
