Summary:

In an article about the flying saucers, Paris-Match magazine for October 23, 1954, published an image of a "saucer" explaining that it was a false saucer made in Marseille with two stacked lampshades.

Explanations:

The photo is obviously a farce, the size of the leaves of the bushes supposed to represent trees is still too large...
