Summary:

In their ufology bulletin Recherches Ufologiques #5 of the 2^nd quarter of 1978, the ufology group GNEOVNI reported that, according to their own archive, an observation occurred in Baisieux in the Nord department in 1954:

"At around 2 a.m., a motorist observed a craft posed on the road. Small beings appeared to be agitated near the machine. The witness dared not get out of his vehicle."

I would have really liked to know more about this; the information is so meager that I cannot rule out a misinterpretation, some land vehicle, for example.
