A sort of very shining saucer was observed during more than one minute in Aix-en-Provence (Bouches-du-Rhône). Motionless, it evolved at a very high altitude.

[Ref. bb1:] GERARD BARTHEL AND JACQUES BRUCKER:

The two authors briefly state that on October 15, 1954 in Aix-en-Provence, what was observed was a weather balloon.

[Ref. fr1:] MICHEL FIGUET AND JEAN-LOUIS RUCHON:

The two authors and ufologists indicate that on October 15, 1954 at 11:30 in Aix-en-Provence in the Rhone delta, a sort of very shiny saucer was observed during more than one minute, staying motionless high in the sky.

The source is indicated as Le Provençal for 10/16/1954.

[Ref. lc1:] LUC CHASTAN:

Luc Chastan indicates that in the Bouches du Rhône in Aix en Provence on October 15, 1954 at 11:30 hours "a kind of very brilliant saucer which, during more than one minute, remains motionless high in the sky."

The source is indicated as "Ovni, Premier dossier complet... by Figuet M./ Ruchon J.L. Alain Lefeuvre pub. 1979".
