Summary:

In 1997, the ufologist and author Jean Sider reports that he learned from an article in the newspaper Le Courrier Républicain, of Roanne, for October 21, 1954, on page 12, that on October 13, 1954, at 08:30 p.m., a shopkeeper who drove by car in the sector of Neulise, in the Loire, arrived 2 km from Neulise, at a place called La Plate-Forme.

There, appeared from behind a grove on the hill, a luminous globe moved at low altitude. He stopped his vehicle to better observe the phenomenon; which landed in a field not far from the road and left a few seconds later towards the north.

French ufologist and author Jean Sider learned in an article from the newspaper Le Courrier Républicain, Roanne, for October 21, 1954, page 12, that on October 13, 1954 at 08:30 p.m., a tradesman who was driving by car in the sector of Neulise, the Loire, arrived at 2 km of Neulise, at the locality La Plate-forme.

There he saw, appearing from behind a thicket located on the hill, a luminous sphere which moved at low altitude. He stopped his vehicle for better observing the phenomenon, which landed in a field not far from the road and set out again a few seconds later in direction of the north.

The website indicates that on 13 October 1954 at 20:30, in Neulise, France, "Luminous globe flies overhead at low altitude, lands in field for few seconds. An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One luminous ball was observed by one witness in a field for several minutes."
