October 13, 1954, Chatellerault, Vienne:

Reference number for this case: 13-oct-54-Chatellerault. Thank you for including this reference number in any correspondence with me regarding this case.

Reports:

[Ref. hw1:] HAROLD T. WILKINS:

The author indicates that in France in 1954, at Chatellerault like at Bugeat, a man alleged that normal-looking beings or a normal-looking being approached, kissed him, jabbered unintelligibly, then got into cigar-shaped saucers ten feet long, and took off.

[Ref. bb1:] JACQUES BARTHEL AND GERARD BRUCKER:

The authors indicate that in Chatellerault the two witnesses seem to have been lucky because the two beings which they saw climbing into their craft babbled joyfully, but "it is not specified if the two pranksters had time to initiate themselves to the language of the 'Ufonauts'.

Notes:

The man in Bugeat is Antoine Mazaud, see Mourieras for October 10.

The case in Chatellerault is completely unknown to me and might be full in error, maybe a deformation of the famous Marius Dewilde case of October 10. Only Barthel and Brucker seem to see this as a case with two 'witnesses' and actually a hoax. Nobody provides an actual primary source.

Explanations:

Not looked for yet. Probable hoax or non-case.

Keywords:

(These keywords are only to help queries and are not implying anything.)
