October 11, 1954, Dax, Landes:

Reference number for this case: 11-oct-54-Dax. Thank you for including this reference number in any correspondence with me regarding this case.

The two authors indicate an observation in Dax on October 11, 1954, appearing in the "Sud-Ouest" newspaper for October 12, 1954:

"A hunter in company of a comrade saw within rifle range a machine in the shape of a grand piano. On the top, two glazed cupolas let green-grayish gleams filter, on the side, port-holes through which filtered yellow rays. At the back were two kinds of exhaust pipes. The machine was motionless within 50 meters of them after a fulgurating descent, then described some circles and set out again vertically."
